Dear Parents,

We are incredibly proud that we were able to successfully spend time together with your children during our online summer camp in July, even while facing the challenges that COVID-19 presented. The wonderful summer experience provided a lot of inspiration and we learned a lot about integrating online technology into our courses.

Winter break is fast approaching, followed by the Chinese New Year. With this in mind, we have designed a new course filled with cultural lessons, games, activities, and a hands-on DIY craft for your children to enjoy. Let’s learn and enjoy Chinese culture together again!

For only $10.00, join us for a two-hour online lesson tailored for your child’s age group. We’ll provide you with materials needed for a fun DIY craft to go along with the cultural lesson! Please feel free to share this information with your friends and relatives all around the country!

Rich Red Envelopes for the New Year

Red envelopes originate from the strong Chinese values of courtesy, generosity, and reciprocity. The gifting of red envelopes occurs not only within familial relationships, but also sometimes between friends and even coworkers. New Year’s money is given during the Lunar New Year, red envelopes are gifted for weddings and birthdays, and some are even presented as an appreciation for another’s hard work!

Learn about the origins of red envelopes. How did red envelopes evolve over the years? What are the basic etiquettes to pay attention to when receiving and giving red envelopes?

Let’s play fun games and create an intricate red envelope DIY craft together!

This will be all included in our two-hour course, so don’t miss out!
